Steve Bettam, his BMW M3 and ZX1. WOW!!

I came across your stunning product after years of track days and performance tuning on a very wide range of vehicles from small mini stocks to big power jap drift cars.

We now run an established performance centre based in Cannock, Staffordshire.  The reason for my e-mail is to tell you briefly about my own personal experience with ZX1 in my own car.

I owned a very near perfect BMW E36 M3 and added ZX1 Micro Oil Metal Treatment to most moving metal parts - engine, cooling system, gearbox, power steering system, even added to the diff oil.

It never ceased to amaze me on the road or track with ZX1 enhancing more or less all of the engine and box internals.

Back in October 2009 I had a huge accident in the beloved M3, due to the sheer speed at the time the accident was very destructive and extremely violent, the throttle got stuck open and 350bhp propelled me upside down a few times and eventually came to rest on its side, my guess is the accident lasted probably 25-30 seconds from start to finish.

For that 30 seconds my tuned engine ( which has no rev limiters or top speed limiters) had the throttle held wide open which I'm certain you will agree would have decimated most engines, the  shocking part is one of the first things to break off my car at the time of the accident was the oil  cooler and the alloy sump, both were ripped off very early on in the crash.

When the dust settled and I had done all the "am I still alive" checks, I realised my engine minus the sump and oil cooler was still screaming at almost 9000rmp, I quickly shut it down and began to climb out of my once perfect M3, the shell as you can imagine was completey written off and the only things to survive were...

1. Me and   2. My Engine and Gearbox!!!!!!!!!! even though it was at top revs for quite a while with zero oil inside!!!.

The reason for my e-mail to you is to let you know I sorted another E36 M3 shell and a sump and oil cooler, the new car is now finished and IT'S RUNNING THE ACTUAL ENGINE FROM MY PREVIOUS CAR !!.  In my opinion that engine would have been killed in the crash IF IT HAD NOT HAVE BEEN FOR YOUR PRODUCT.

I am convinced that without the ZX1 protection it would have destroyed itself, it didn't and the picture attached is of the "new" M3 witht he EXISTING ENGINE.

I am so pleased my engine survived and it's down to your product in my opinion. I wouldn't be without it now a massive thank you to everyone at ZX1.
